Boston Gaymers is a social group for LGBTQIA+ gamers in the Greater Boston area to help find and make new friends in a safe and welcoming environment.
We have a thriving gaymer community, most active on our Discord server. We also hold various in-person and virtual events each month to bring together our members and have fun!
Game Workers Unite is an international grassroots movement and organization dedicated to unionizing the game industry. We are game workers interested in organizing with everyone who helps make games. And we mean everyone, if you work at a game company, work on a small indie team, do freelance or contract work, and more, you are a game worker and you deserve the protection and support of your fellow workers by standing together in union.
Foam Brain Games is a company made and ran by con-lovers like you! We treat everyday as a new opportunity for us to share new products designed and developed for game lovers!

At Board Game Empire, we don’t just play games, we build entire events around them. We run board game speed dating nights where you can find love while playing games. We host tournaments where you can prove your prowess against earth’s mightiest competitors (or, at the very least, against whoever was able to make it that night). We host indie showcase nights where you can try out the creations of local artisans. We’ve also got weekly board game nights, party game nights, Dungeons & Dragons for First Time Players nights, board game escape-the-room challenges, and more.
Boston SciFi, aka The Boston Science Fiction Film Festival is a cinematic event held every year in February.
We were born at the legendary Orson Welles Cinema, this year marks our 46th anniversary. We are the longest running genre fest in America. The first days consist of a traditional film festival. Whether they be features, shorts, webisodes, workshops, parties or a new Hollywood film, Boston SciFi emphasizes emerging directors with distinct visions from around the globe.
